I didn't know Lillian. I have been reading on this site about all the Marsh employees who lost their lives on 9/11/01. It has been an emotional journey to say the least. Lillian sounds like she was a great person and one who is surely missed. I was especially touched by the tribute left by Daniella Vargas. After my husband passed I consulted with a psychic (with a grain of salt, folks) who told me thst my husband was a special angel, now, who had a specific job on the "other side". He was someone who greeted new people who had just passed as a result of a violent death, and that he took them in hand and helped them along their new journey. I'd like to think that my husband Gordon did just that for Lillian. To all that miss her, peace.

Ms. Carceres, We never met, but your granddaughter is my son’s best friend. I’ve heard stories of you as a mother and friend. I know that you are so deeply loved and missed. You live on in your daughter and in your granddaughters. I know you are so proud of them. Continue to rest peacefully. I know one day we will have the chance to meet. May God give comfort to all of those who continue to mourn your loss. Tie Adebayo & Family.

After all these years, you are still very much-loved and missed. The impression and seed sown onto many of the lives you touched will never be forgotten. I'm blessed to have met you when I was a young girl during Gateway's Sunday School. My prayers are always with your daughter and family. Until we meet again.

Tribute to My Sunday School Teacher: It's amazing how life is. Just the day before you left us, you were playing an Angel in a church play who greeted people coming to heaven after dying in calamities like a car crash, a building collapse, and a plane crash. Who would've known that the next day as you sat at your desk on the 97th floor , Jesus would be soon greeting you after that fateful day. There's something about you that I could never forget. Maybe it was your smile, your warmth and compassion. Or maybe it's because as a child in Sunday school, I could sense your genuineness and your dedication to God. It stuck with me because that's what I wanted to be like. I'll never forget you, Lilian, and what you taught me. <3

Lillian, I enjoyed our times working together and chatting over the years. You were a hard worker, a wonderful mother and a devoted child of God. I hope that at the moment you went back home to the Father that your faith kept you brave and comforted. Rest in peace, love, Michael

Thanks be to God that we have a greater calling to go to and Lillian is there...with her Lord and Savior...as much as it hurts to lose her and have that void, we can be assured that she is at peace and those of us who share her Savior, will see her again one day!!

I can remember our conversations on the SI Ferry ride to Manhattan. The anniversary is two days away and I can still hear her voice and see her face. She was a caring person. She loved her daughter greatly and she loved God. It's hard to believe she is gone from this world and my prayers are with her family, and especially her daughter.

Lillian was a dear friend and sister in the Lord. We are blessed to have had the privilege of working with her in Christian service. Her constant faith and dedication to the Lord remains a shining example of what true surrender represents. We know today she rejoicing in the presence of her Heavenly Father. Our love to Joanna and the extended family.

I saw Lillian's name on MSNBC on a victim's list one morning several months ago and was stunned. I attended Clover Park High School in Tacoma, Washington, with a Lillian Caceres and assume this is the same person. I remember Lillian fondly as a very outgoing happy person. My prayers for her daughter and family during this time of adjustment.
