We grew up on the same block playing basketball and hanging out. It is six years later and it is still hard to believe that this happened to you. From all of your friends on 113th st., we miss you and you will not be forgotten.

We met in an unlikely place. Played some ball together and had lots of laughs and then as life is we went our seperate ways. Then when I was assigned to the WTC there you were both of us a little older and a lot of pounds extra you always had that big smile a gentle giant and a force to be reckoned with. I will miss you God Bless You and your family.

I didn't know Lamar personally but as a colleague and Christian I would like to extend my condolences to his family and I pray that he is resting peacefully, waiting for us to join him in heaven. With love, Michael Cantatore

Lamar, you stand alone in the tributes to those you lay along side, but there is no words in your memory. I don't know why this would be, but I write these words because no one should died such a tragic and senseless death and go unrecognized. I am sorry, so sorry that you and so many thousands died on 9/11. I am sorry that your loved ones did not have the chance to say good-bye or I love you one more time. You do not deserve to lie here in this web-site with no one to salute you. Just someone who cares...
