I visited the September 11, 2001 museum. Wei passed at 27 years old, the same age as myself. The messages from Wei's family written on his missing poster have moved me to tears multiple times since. He is remembered even by those who never knew him.

I did not Know Ye Wei myself and although I may be from the other side of the world in Australia, I found myself reading your name and read some of these beautiful tributes about a young man taken too soon. May God please watch over this man’s family as he is now safe in heaven waiting to reunite with his loved ones. Never forgotten.

I didn't know Ye Wei personally but as a colleague and Christian I would like to extend my condolences to the Liang family and I pray that Ye Wei is resting peacefully, waiting for us in heaven. With love, Michael Cantatore

I live in Los Angeles. I sang in the worldwide Rolling Requiem of Mozart, on September 11, 2002. I wore the heart nametag of Ye Wei Liang. I sang for him in my heart. I will continue to light a Yahrzeit candle for him on Yom Kippur every year. My thoughts and prayers are with his freinds, family and colleagues.
