I knew Norma from IBM. Norma was wonderful and a pleasure to be around. She was a very special person who was so caring to everybody she met. What a great character she had that we all can emulate. Thanks, Norma.

It has taken me six years to voice my feelings for Norma. I used to work with Norma at Marsh & McLennan on 6th Ave, she was one of the first people I met. I was young, and away from my family, yet I always looked forward to seeing Norma everyday and knowing that I would be able to get some motherly love. She would always tell me what a great job I was doing, and how my mom must be so proud of me. I miss Norma. I left Marsh a year or so before they moved our department to the World Trade Center, and she was one of the first people I thought of when I heard/saw the tragedy. I miss her saying ciao bella - I say that phrase all the time because of her. I make great manicotti because of her. I am a better person because of her. I miss my surrogate mom, and her talking about taking care of her mom and husband. She was a wonderful woman, words cannot express enough the impact she had on my personal and professional life. If I close my eyes, I can still see you sitting next to me at your desk, dishing out praises, love and laughter...I miss you. Monique

Dearest Norma, I think about you often... Still here at IBM and wonder what it would have been like if you were still here to keep us in check. IBM lost a great person when you left and the world lost a great person on 9/11. You will always be in my thoughts...

Grandma, I remember when I came over to your house I always saw you with a smile on and cooking something good in the kichen. I always thought about what would happen when you were gone. Now I know. I am proud to say you were my grandmother, and I miss you dearly. Love your granddaughter, Marisa Catherine Taddei

Norma, Ciao bella! You used to always greet me with 'Ciao Bello!' You were so sweet, right from the start and were always so kind and funny. I remember whne you joined us on the third floor of 125 Broad street. You lit up the place and treated me like family. I was so heartbroken to find out we lost you. I still cherish seeing you and Barbara Walsh sitting together in the pictures from my baby shower. I am honored that you were there. I miss you. Love always, Michael Cantatore

Ciao signorina ! This is what Norma always would say when she would see me. Whenever I used to stop by her desk, I would ask her to speak to me in Italian so that I could learn more - she was a great woman who is missed. She would tell me about her grandchildren and always ask how my daughter is doing. When my friends gave me a baby shower at 125 Broad St in 1998 - Norma came and she gave me 'Barney' kids dish set and now everyday when my daughter uses it I remember her. My prayers go out to her family! Ciao bella signora !! Chris

I worked with Norma on the 96th floor of 1WTC. Norma always introduced herself as the 'Mom' of our group. She was wonderful. She took care of all of us. When ever we needed lunch ordered for a meeting, she made sure we were all well fed!! I will always remember Norma as a caring, kind, good woman. She loved her family and was very proud of them. We heard such nice stories about the Taddei gang. I miss her very much. My condolences to her family.
