I never knew you Lucy, but when I visited the ground zero site from the UK I saw your picture among the memorials. I took a few journalistic photographs of the memorials and tried in my own way to find some kind of peace in the faces of the lost.
I went to New York to show my sorrow, to carry the smallest bit of support across the Ocean that divides our countries. I found you Lucy Crifasi, and although I never knew you, never met you, and weren't likely to ever have, I found you among the faces and names I went to pay my respects to.
I am sorry you were taken from us in such a terrible way Lucy.
[To the person who moderates this: I tried to include a link to the picture I took, however this page doesn't appear to allow links]

Lucy,
I miss you and see your beautiful face on my mantle and remember all the good times.
