Remembering you still.

Thinking of you again dear friend. Still miss you.

May God's comfort continue to be with Phyllis' family.

I remeber Phyllis from Waco. She had one of the best laughs and a fantastic sense of humor. I wish I had known her longer. Kay

Phyllis was just so much fun! Several of us who had worked with her in Dallas went to NYC to visit her and she was in love with the city. She spoke of her job, her new apartment, and of course her son Keith who we all know. I think of her often and and wish I'd had a chance to talk to her one more time.

I will always remember Phyillis for her wonderful spirit. She always had a smile and a positive attitude and some very funny Louisiana stories! I can honestly say I cannot remember her ever being in a bad mood. She was so proud of her son Keith and whatever he was doing. Praying for comfort for him and his family as the the 10 year mark approaches.

Its been 8 years and it still feels like it was yesterday. I still think of you often and of Keith. I hope and pray that Keith is doing well. I just want Keith to know that Phyllis's friends and colleagues in the Dallas office will never forget her and that he is in our prayers, today and always.

Phyllis always had some sort of corporate project that she needed your input on. Stuff that you never thought would help you in your day to day existence. She was such a nice person that I could never say no, no matter how crazed. I'm glad I took the time to know her. I still miss her.

I still remember this dear lady as a friend and co-worker. May God continue to comfort her family.

Phyliss-I recall your professionalism and dedication to the organization. Your assistance to me was invaluable when I first came to the firm. Thinking of you today.

Phyllis - I remember you as a wonderfully warm person, with a terrific smile, an outgoing personality, and that great accent! You and I worked out many thorny issues related to the Global Broking processes and procedures, and I was always amazed at how you could keep your spirits up. You were a delight to spend time with (and it's not that often one can say that about people you work with!). I just wanted to say I was thinking about you and I miss you.

I'm thinking about you Phyllis. I really miss what you brought to all of us that were touched by your contageous personality.

Phyllis was a colleague and a friend. I worked with her for several years in Global Broking in Dallas. She loved life and her son Keith very much. She always wanted to live in NY and was thrilled when she had the opportunity to transfer. She would joke about her tiny apartment, but didn't mind it because she was happy. She had come back to Dallas in the spring of 2001 for her son's wedding and I regret not being able to see her again. Of course, I didn't know it was the last chance that I would have. We missed Phyllis when she moved to NY and we still miss her now. My prayers are with Keith and his family and Phyllis would have been so proud.

Last year I was asked to speak about friends that I lost on September 11th. Amongt the three that I will always remember is Phyllis Talbot. Here's what I said:

Helpful, Impeccable dresser, Single mother of one adult son, Friend

I remember feeling sad when she told me she was moving downtown. I wished her well and spoke about having lunch with her - I regret we never did. Don't put off doing lunch with someone you care about until another day. My prayers are with her family.

I worked with Phyllis in the Dallas office. She alway found a funny side to people and the reason they did what they did. She did an excellent job when I worked with her.

I think about her often.

I worked with Phyllis in Global Broking and will never forget her warmth and bright smile. She was so proud of her son - my thoughts and prayers are with him tonight. I will never forget her.

The last time I saw Phyllis was on the last Saturday in July of 2001. We, along with our former colleague, Sandy Denny, went to the Flemington shopping outlet in NJ. We went by bus. We had a very full day of shopping. By nightfall, we waited for the last bus out of Flemington to Port Authority. The bus never made its last stop, and we were stranded. Phyllis phoned information and obtained the numbers of several taxi services. She ordered car service. There were two other people stranded, and they rode in the car service (to the nearest train station some 12 miles away) with us. The car sent was a station wagon. Phyllis and I sat in the back "kiddie" seat - the one that faces traffic. I can still see Phyllis, overtaken by laughter at the thought of us waving at the cars as they went by. That was the Phyllis I knew: full of vivacity, and spunk. She was one of the nicest, smartest, funniest people I ever knew, and the world is so sad to have lost her.

I never met Phyllis Talbot, but i do have a bracelet with her name on it. I picked it out from a list of all the victims of the tragedy on September 11, 2001. I don't know why I picked her name, but when I was asked the question of whose name I wanted to have imprinted on it, I decided to go through all the names and pick out one that would pick me. When I came to her name something told me to choose her. The only thing I noticed after picking out her name, was that she was the same age as me, and that she worked at the World Trade Center as I did in 1973. I was one of the first security guards hired to work there after it opened, I was one of a few women they wanted to hire as greeters directing people in the lobby and on the floors above. I worked the second shift on the 78th floor until 1975 when I moved to California with my mother.

My heart aches for Phyllis and her family at home and at your company. I will keep her name with me always on my wrist. If anyone can post anything here that could tell me a little about her I would appreciate it immensely, If you can't I will understand.

On the anniversary of her death, I am praying for her and all of her co-workers here and gone.

The memory of Phyllis' broad smile, clever wit and spunky sprit will forever be remembered by those of us who made up the beginnings of the Dallas Global Broking operation. I am praying for her family, especially Keith,as the first anniversay of 9-11-01 draws near.

I worked with Phyllis in the Dallas office and felt her excitement when she called to tell me she was moving to New York. I know she loved the Marsh family. I still visit with friends of hers from time to time and we miss her.

Phyllis and I worked together in Global Broking and managed to find a humorous side to a stressful environment. She was hard working, intelligent and always helpful. She was very proud of her son and spoke of him often. I know her family misses her very much as do her colleagues and friends.
