Dear Deepika, I don't know you but I visited ground zero last month with my family and I saw your name engraved on one of the panels at the memorial. Words cnnot express my anguish seeing all those names. I sincerely pray that you are at peace wherever you are and may the Almighty give courage to your near and dear ones Kumar

Deepika and myself used to work at Wipro.

She came to the US at the same time that we migrated to Toronto. I remember her telling me that we will still be in the same continent..

I remember her as a very cheerful and a very warm-hearted person.

May her soul rest in peace and may god give the strength to her family members !

Deepika was my senior in college in Hyderabad. We became friends while acting in a mime. After that , meeting her and Kavita in the lunch hour became a daily ritual. Deepika is one of the sweetest people I have met in my life. She was a very brilliant girl who let her grades do the talking. She always had a serene expression on her face. The last time I spoke to her was in Dec.1988. She had called to wish me on my birthday. I was so touched by her gesture. I wish I had had the oppurtunity to tell her how much she impressed me and that I was glad her life touched mine! I know Deepika that you are watching out for your husband and son. My heart goes out to them! May your souls rest in peace!
