As I sit here 11 years later waiting for them to say your name at the tribute I can't help but think what a wonderful human being you were and that your life was taken away too soon. I know you are looking down at your family today and smiling down. So many people are thinking about you today and keeping your spirit alive. We all miss you pretty girl! xo

Although I never met you, Yvonne, I know your cousin, Bob and will never ever forget that day and the pain he and your family must feel. I've seen pictures of you, a beautiful person, and pray that your end was painless. You will never be forgotten. I am so very sad on this day but cannot even imagine what your family goes through. They will be with you again one day, I truly believe, in a better place!

I cannot believe til to this day I have thoughts of you when I did not know you well just another passenger on the Qm24 bus to Manhattan. You would say good morning to me and I would say it back and we would always smile at each other. You even complimented me on my hair color and style. All I would see was a beautiful smile and how happy you were each and every morning. God Bless you always....

The dreadful anniversary approaches and I can't not think about you... Today I'm sad and you are on my mind...

I went to Our Lady of Fatima with Yvonne. We were in the same class together. We lost contact since,so I didn't Know her to well. I do remember her smile and how nice she was to others. My heart goes out to her and her family. God bless you! Susan.

Yvonne... it's been 6 years and i still think of you often... you used to make me laugh on the express bus every week when you had to go to midtown for training.. you'd show me all the things you bought your godchild and you telling me about ur parents on vacation in italy..... i remember bus driver Tony pulling over on Elliot to make me see if that was your picture saying you were missing... my god the whole bus was crying... i miss you making me laugh ...you were a wonderful person and you are truly missed... god bless you and keep you always...

I didn't know Yvonne well, but I do remember how she loved life. It had been quite a few years since I had seen her, but I was sickened to find out she was among those so tragically killed. On this day, I found myself thinking of what a loss it must have been for those we knew her well and loved her.

Yvonne, you will always be with us. I cant believe it has been 6 years since we lost you. We miss you very much!!!!!

I cannot believe that 6 years ago tomorrow you were taken from us. Not a day goes by in these last 6 years that I don't think of you and wish I could just pick up the phone and call you. I would do anything to hear your voice again. You always made me feel better! I love and miss you always & I know someday we will be all together again.

Your smile is always with me...on the subway and always when I hear Mary J. I know our Amelie is with you and Teta Zora. Please watch over her and teach all you taught me.

September 11th 2001 was very hard to comprehend, why we were hated in such a bad way that these acts took place. I remember on Sept. 12th,my 26th bd Yvonne's friends begging for any information on her whereabouts and I could not help but to cry. I could not understand why and how this could happen. My prayers go out to Yvonne's friends and family and to all the families that lost a loved one on this horrific day. Dee, Ga

I never knew Yvonne. Infact, the only time I remember hearing her name was on the news five years ago. I remember a young woman holding a picture of her asking if anyone had seen her, please call. I don't know why I remember her name out of so many hundereds of names I heard on the news. I've never been able to understand that. Many times I've came here and went through the posts. I've searched tribute websites to learn what I could about the woman who's name has stuck in my mind for so long. To Yvonne's family: I will never forget your daughters name and what happened on that day 5 years ago. All we can do is remember, and continue to remember. I wish you all the best and hope that you have healed over the last 5 years. My thoughts will always be with you, and your daughter will always be rememberd. Tom Hutchens, North Carolina.

My memories of 9/11 always bring Yvonne's face. I don't know her or her family but her face and her friends and family's search touched me. I remember seeing them on 9/12 and associating a face to the tragedy and that was Yvonne's. I grieved for everyone involved but Yvonne's face always stuck out in my head. Over the years I still remember her name and think about her family and wish them the best. I'm so sorry this happened and I hope that Yvonne and her family are in a better place. It has been 5 years now and I still remember the fliers and that image will stay with me for the rest of my life. Yvonne's face put the entire tragedy in perspective for me. I wish her family and friends all the best in the world!!

It's been (4) years since I saw your family holding a sign with Yvonne's picture on it on the CNN news. You were searching for Yvonne and I prayed and cried with you hoping that your search would end happily. I'm still praying and crying with you. God Bless your family.

Even now I sit here and I cry thinking about how much I miss Yvonne. I can hear your voice, hear you giving me advice and hear you yelling at me for not returning her calls right away! LOL I will never forget all of the love and memories that we shared over the years and you will always be with me. We were together the week before the attack and I will never forget our last dinner! I love you!

It's been so many years. I will always remember Yvonne and the days when George and I would play video games and Sonia would make us lunch. Only since my mother passed away do I know the pain of what you have had to endure. They are looking over us and want us to live live to the fullest before we join them again. Don't disappoint them.

WORKED SIDE BY SIDE FOR 4 YEARS AT TRAVEL HELPLINE IN GREAT NECK AND THEN COMPANY MOVED TO OYSTER BAY TILL WE WENT OUR SEPERATE WAYS..WE ALWAYS SAID WE WOULD GO WORK FOR AMERICAN EXPRESS SOMEDAY..

I REMEMBER OUR GIRLY TALKS AND HOW SHE WAS ALWAYS GETTING HERSELF INTO SOMETHING AND NEVER SUPRISED ME AND ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH..YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED AND IN MY PRAYERS FOREVER..I GUESS NO MORE SPEEDING TICKETS...HAHA..
